Appearance: Miles stands nearly 6’1” tall and weighs around 160 lbs. He’s not a huge guy, but he has plenty of bulk in his upper body. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Miles’ hair tends to always be in some state of chaos, but it suits him well enough for him not to care much. He definitely likes to take care of himself physically and works out on occasion to keep up the Quidditch player physique. He’s a tad more concerned with his outward appearance than the normal male, but mostly because he is somewhat of a ladies’ man.

Compared to most other guys, Miles is average-looking. There’s nothing extremely special about his appearance, but he doesn’t have a hard time attracting women, which is probably mostly due to his wealth and personality.

Miles dresses the way a 19 year old man would be expected to dress: comfortably. He likes to wear jeans and button-up shirts the only difference is that he can afford to wear designer clothing. When he wears “wizard” clothing, which isn’t very often anymore, he sticks to nice cloaks and the like.

Personality: Miles is the typical Slytherin. He's cocky, elitist and a jerk (for the most part). The only thing different about him is that he was never interested in being a Death Eater, so in that way he stands out a bit from his peers. He's very laid back around his friends and tries his best not to take things too seriously. He hates being involved in long-term relationships with women and always tries to avoid them as much as possible, but that's mainly because he's never come across a woman he thought he had to get to know really well. Any girl he knows well is a friend and that is all.

Miles is a very independent person, but he isn't a loner. He likes to be surrounded by people, at least people he gets along with. On the weekends he is usually out and about doing this and that, mostly drinking and hitting on unsuspecting women. Miles isn't very affected by peer pressure and generally doesn't care if his friends think he is acting a certain way. He does his best to stay true to himself and get through the days without much of a problem, but occasionally he will ruffle some feathers.

Miles can be somewhat quiet and calculating. He likes to sit back and watch the world around him and doesn't comment unless he really has something to say. He enjoys listening to other people talk and argue and takes some sort of sick pleasure in seeing people in pain, not so much physical as mental or emotional.

With women, he tends to be quite flirty and promiscuous. It isn't odd for him to randomly hook up with one or more women on a nightly basis during the weekend. There are a few women who he has spent more than one night with, but this is more because of their sexual experience and the fact that they know what they are doing in bed than actually feeling something for them.

The bad thing about Miles is that he is a bit overprotective about his family and he is quick to anger. He isn't above hexing someone who severely pisses him off and has been known to do so one more than one occasion, sometimes to Muggles who had no idea what hit them. He keeps in good physical condition and knows he can take most people if he really needed to. Having a wand is what he considers to be a fair advantage against Muggles and doesn't feel guilty about using it.

History: Richard and Scarlett Bletchley welcomed their third child into the world on August 11, 1978. Their previous two children, Alice and Jasmine, were five and three respectively and having a boy was finally like a dream come true to Richard. He'd always wanted a boy to teach Quidditch and to pass down advice and wisdom to. Now his dream was reality and he couldn't have been happier. The Bletchley's life, in general, was going quite well when Miles was born. Richard had just been promoted within the ring of Death Eaters and was higher up than ever before. He was given more daunting tasks and was quite proud of himself. His day job, the one that brought in money, was a curse breaker for the Ministry of Magic. Scarlett, on the other hand, stayed out of the way of anything involving Death Eaters. She had never had to work a day in her life. The majority of the Bletchley's money came from Scarlett's family, who inherited their money from a long line of Purebloods. Richard, though also a pureblood, did not come from quite as wealthy of a family. Though being Pureblood had more to do with power than money.

Miles' life before Hogwarts was quite fulfilling. His parents loved him dearly and he was quite spoiled. They paid the best wizard tutor to teach him the ins and outs of being a Pureblood and what Hogwarts would be like when he was eventually accepted on his eleventh birthday. Very often, Richard would take Miles out for rides on his broomstick. Instantly, the young boy fell in love with flying and eventually Quidditch as well. His relationship with his sisters was normal and healthy. The age gap was enough to keep Jasmine and Miles quite close, but Alice wasn't as interested in Miles as a friend. When both of his sisters were off at Hogwarts, Miles became quite jealous and spent most of his days pouting to his mother over this fact.

Finally, his eleventh birthday came and he was admitted into Hogwarts. Luckily for him his birthday came only a month before school started so he didn't have to wait for long before finding out if he would be included in the long line of Slytherins that came from his family (there were a few Ravenclaws, but mostly cousins). Sure enough, as the Sorting Hat was placed on his head the night of September first, Miles Bletchley became a member of Slytherin house and proudly joined the table in the Great Hall. It took very little time for him to fit in with the crowd. Even as a first year, he was well liked by many of the upperclassmen. In his second year, Miles joined up with the Quidditch team. At first he was named an alternate because there were so many people on the team already, but halfway through the season he became Keeper.

When it came to actual education, Miles was an average student. His favourite subject was Potions, mostly because of Professor Snape than anything else. He loved watching the Gryffindors be humiliated in front of the class and was frequently behind most of the pranks that were pulled on them. Once he even melted the cauldron of a blonde Gryffindor girl in his year and an icky green potion seeped everywhere, including on her. He was quite proud of himself for that one and soon became known as the troublemaker of his class. He didn't mind much, though. Most people worshiped him for being on the Quidditch team and he rarely got in trouble for anything he did.

His last few years at Hogwarts proved to be much of the same, only he became more and more interested in girls. Even though Miles never admitted to calling a girl his girlfriend, he did go through quite a few 'relationships'.

During his last year at Hogwarts, Miles was forced to choose whether or not to become a Death Eater or to take on a normal career path. His father pressured him to follow in his footsteps, but Miles wasn't completely sure if he wanted to become that sort of person. He'd always been a bit of a show-off and a arse to people, but that didn't necessarily translate into him being a torturer or a killer. When he finally confronted his father and told him that he would not like to become a Death Eater, Richard was quite upset but he let the subject drop for the time being. Scarlett was extremely happy that Miles decided not to go on to follow in her husband’s footsteps.

After Hogwarts, Miles returned home and did nothing but travel around randomly to different places and spend a ton of money unnecessarily. After awhile, his mother tried to persuade him to find a career and reluctantly Miles agreed. Now, he is looking for a spot on a Professional Quidditch team, but so far he hasn’t had any luck, but it probably has more to do with his lack of really trying than his actual talent.
